Many users report that Safari v1.1 or v1.2 on OS X 10.3 does not
display QuickTime VRs on VirtualParks. I've figured out the problem,
which appears to have been an element of the stylesheet which Safari
1.2
choked on, and I've updated VirtualParks' stite-wide CSS file to remove
the problematical item. Ironically the problem element was not even used on the site anymore. A test of the solution
is at http://www.virtualparks.org/scenes/safaritest15.html,
but any and all VR pages on the site should now work in Safari
1.2.
Thanks to Jim Passin, Peter McCready, Fazal Majid, William B. Chase,
Ernie Rideout. and Jon for testing the alternate approaches.

Purpose |
VRlog provides news, developments and analysis of the virtual reality (VR) world from a nature photographer's perspective. Since I am not connected to or funded by any VR vendor, I intend to objectively appraise what's going on, and the direction VR is headed in. -- erik goetze
