I'm happy to announce the VRs and trip report from my backpack trip last September to Lamarck Col, Evolution Meadows, Piute Canyon, Humphreys Basin, Piute Pass, and back to North Lake in the Sierra Nevada are online. A few of the scenes I thought were worth making available as high resolution fullscreen panos in the Premium Content section.

LaserGraphics has a new QuickTime to 35mm film capability. They say "If you can watch it in QuickTime Player, you can now record it out directly on our film recorders." Could that be true of QTVR as well -- do you need someone to pan around while recording?.

Update: Apparently the TribeWorks site is fine now, they say they had a DNS problem.

Earlier this morning I attempted to visit TribeWorks website and each time it resulted in a Network Solutions page that said their domain was parked.

Purpose
VRlog provides news, developments and analysis of the virtual reality (VR) world from a nature photographer's perspective. Since I am not connected to or funded by any VR vendor, I intend to objectively appraise what's going on, and the direction VR is headed in. -- erik goetze
