So much has happened in the last week, it's impossible to describe it all.
There was Outward Bound last Friday, eight hours of team-building in the Fontainebleau forest, in -5 C conditions. Pictures to be come.
There was the massive Opening Week party at a large chateau last Saturday night.
There was the appearance of Lucky's lady, who happened to be in France working on a project.
There was several hours of Ikea furniture put-together, which will do just fine to replace the Outward Bound event in team-building.
There was the exemption from Prices & Markets (yay!), giving me the chance to take an elective this period, from this list:
- Pharmaceutical Marketing Strategy
- IT Strategy
- Ethical Dilemmas
I have asked to take Ethical Dilemmas, mostly because I think this is a great time to reflect on one's ethics, and make sure you know why you have the set that you do. I never studied philosophy formally (not that this is philosophy), but I am looking forward to making a better foundation for my morals. Plus, the professor (Henri-Claude de Bettignies) is an ebullient Frenchman, and who could miss that?
