Today is the first day of Financial Accounting, my bête noire.  I have to admit that it does scare me a bit; I think I'll take my textbook with me and read it in the morning. 8:54:36 AM    comment []

Things I did today: Finished putting together the last of my Ikea furniture.  Total time: roughly 5 hours across several days, for one hanging closet and one dresser. Deposited a small sum of Euros into my French bank account.  Tomorrow I'll continue with my PayPal registration, and I'll see if this is a good way to transfer money from the US to France. Logged on to my BNP Paribas online banking system, which, incredibly, seems to charge me for each time I log on to their system.  If this is true, I will certainly switch banks as soon as I get my papers in order.
