535 pictures in 10 days -- Comment() I have taken 535 pictures with my new digital camera, Canon Ixus 400. During the first five days I took about 400 pictures, so the rate has slowed down a lot since then. But I'm still very happy about the purchase. The best feature of a digital camera is that you can discard the bad shots, and preserve the good ones. Currently I have 68 pictures left on the cf card of the camera. So, it seems that about one picture in eight or nine comes out right. Of course, most of the failed pictures were due to experimenting with the camera, trying to find what are the limits for getting good pictures.

-- Comment() Confidential Apple music details leaked: "According to notes published on the web, Apple has sold 3.5 million songs since it launched its iTunes music store at the end of April. [...] The computer manufacturer is selling about 500,000 songs a week and about half of those are sold as albums, allaying fears that people would choose individual tracks instead of a whole record." About the Finnish version of baseball -- Comment() Pesäpallo: "The name of the game is "Pesäpallo." In Finnish, it means "baseball." Literally. The most obvious difference between Pesäpallo and what we know and love as baseball is the position of the pitcher. As illustrated in the picture, the pitcher stands a short distance away from the batter, and throws the ball up in the air so that it would land, if not hit, on the circular batter's plate."
