Government on the move

Remember the wailing that went with moving Guilford County mental health services out of downtown Greensboro?

How would you like to be part of this government relocation plan?

"From top officials down to the lowliest clerk, the entire government is being shifted to the new capital...Among the lower ranks, wages don't even amount to 10,000 kyat." (note: kyat rhymes with squat for a reason.)

"Amid all the speculation, the reason for the relocation remains a puzzle. The official explanation is that Pyinmana is centrally located, which will enable the government to improve its services." (no comment...)

"Yet another rumor is spreading that says SPDC Chairman Than Shwe was simply following the advice of astrologers."
