Glaze Names cont' What can I say, Potters know that the color blue sells. I don't know of any potters who have done scientific polls, but there is a whole host of anecdotal evidence that supports it. Who buys blue? For potters it seems to be folks that could be seen as 'old fashion' as is exemplified by a plate being described as 'mother-in-law blue.' ....and the definitive mother-in-law blue plate at the 2003 NCECA auction.
