    The Muse Has Finally Struck

    Lake Okanagan, British Columbia
    The Perfect Setting

I've been going nuts trying to come up with a fiction project but it's been so long since I've done any writing beyond letters, reviews, etc. that I've almost forgotten what to do to plan a story! (My fiction works-in-progress were all lost during a move many years ago and I've been taking a very l-o-n-g break ever since.)

I guess that all my trying to write has finally sparked something since a perfectly great story idea popped into my mind a few hours ago. I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed because it's something that will depend on accurate detail, i.e. lots of research. (When will I ever actually get to write the story itself?!) On the other hand, I'm feeling optimistic about being able to pull it off since every resource I can imagine needing for the research is within a day's drive of my home.
