    Trekkie Stuff

Yes, I'm entitled to say "Trekkie" if I want to. I'm one of those original fans from way back in the olden days when Star Trek: The Original Series was the only series and we waited eagerly for each week's brand new episode. Sure, the serious science fiction fans among us started calling ourselves Trekkers pretty early on, to distinguish ourselves from the pretend-I'm-a-Vulcan-24-hours-a-day and stalk-the-stars contingents of fans, but first we were all Trekkies and proud of it!

§ - Was just watching (or more accurately, listening to while working on the computer) an episode of MI-5 (aka Spooks) and realized that the guest star in this episode, "Nest of Angels," seemed rather familiar—those eyes, that voice... Oh yeah! I usually see Alexander Siddig as Doctor Bashir on ST:DS9 reruns these days, not on BBC programming!
