Sunrise
This morning the sun arose as it does everyday, first with that golden glow seen far off in the distance just faint enough to discern. Growing brighter by the minute, my eyes more adjusted to it's brightness, I can now trace the outline of the mountain range in the distance. More golden now, I see the birds take to flight as if to greet the coming day. Then, in that single moment, the glistening star inches just over the horizon stabbing its beams into infinity. Bathing the land with its warmth and glow I now perceive the trees, land and buildings as they are illuminated. It is sunrise, another day, as unique as yesterday!
