Get to Cookin'

If you haven't already started your holiday cooking, you are probably in big trouble. By now the shelves at the local grocery are probably running low on those much needed items, let alone the only turkeys left in the meat department are either those scrawny chicken sized or giant freaks of nature. And if you are fortunate enough to find one that meets your size requirements, it's probably of the frozen variety. Hmmmm...you didn't have anything better to do tonight so you won't mind staying up running water over the birds solid flesh in order to thaw it out.Leaf If on the other hand, you have been awake this past week and did buy that bird early, here are 10 Tips from Butterball that you might enjoy reading. If you are in a real hurry (as in: you sleep in and the relatives will be here in 3 hours) you might consider the quick cook method. As for the traditional cranberries, here is a site that will tell you all you ever needed (or wanted) to know about them. Heck, you can even join their club! In any case, here's wishing you a wonderful Thanksgiving, I am quite thankful for the many blessings in my life...hope you are as well.
