Lifes Journey
As I continue my "journey" with this blog, I like the idea of "100 things" and ponder which will give the better sense of who I am. One of those "things" will most certainly be my love of travel and the ability to see new things, people and places. My passion for driving has diminished not one fraction since before the state granted my license. I well remember those days when, even at age 13, begging my mother to pull over and allow me to drive the remaining few blocks home from some weekly outting. Barely able to reach those pedals and so very cautious when pulling away from the curb, it was exhilaration unprecedented. A car allows you to experience life from a closer perspective, at least closer than 30,000 feet. As in life, "wrong turns" often become adventures and offer great rewards. Perhaps though, I should learn to slow down just a bit, and enjoy the scenery as it passes........at least when it's light outside!
