Anger Leads to Hate, Hate Leads to....Suffering. Today is my Angry Day. I get about one or two of these a month where I am so angry at the world, I ponder whether or not I could get away with killing a few people. I've decided that I couldn't so far, but I always get a little closer to the edge. Today there are a few things making me angry, but I think the foremost among them is the housing market in DC. Basically, if you want to live in Arlington, it's going to cost you $1500 for a 2BR. This is what "market price" is. I don't understand how my COLA raise every year is around 5% while my rent increase is generally around 10% to 15%. Landlords are a group of people that should collectively be lined up and executed. Possibly in ways that violate the Geneva Convention. I am working hard to find my zen in an ever more stressful situation. Breathe in. Breathe out. 1:02:05 PM  comment []
