SeanBonner: "At the meeting of the Southern District of the Anti-Terrorism Advisory Council (ATAC) that was held yesterday in Houston, US Attorney Michael Shelby informed the group that a terrorist attack of 09/11/01 proportions was going to be carried out on US soil within the next 6 weeks.
Mr. Shelby stated that on 09/13/04, US Attorney General John Ashcroft had a conference call with all 93 US Attorneys, an event which is extremely rare. The US Attorneys were informed that without a doubt an attack was going to be perpetrated in the US within the next 6 weeks, prior to the elections. Mr. Shelby urgently requested that all law enforcement be aware of any situation that may be out of the ordinary and report the activity immediately. Mr. Shelby also requested that we get the word out to patrol officers and detectives to talk to their informants and report anything odd or remotely suspicious. Mr. Shelby ended this warning by saying that unless we get a bit of 'luck' and the attack can be detected and prevented, that another attack of 9/11 scale will be carried out."
Is this a form of psychological warfare? Scaring people into thinking an attack is imminent. Which would favour the Bush camp. Of course, Bush would not want or be able to prevent an attack, but inveterate conservatives would never believe that.
Or, the Bush regime is preparing us for a coup under the disguise of a 'terrorist attack'. The aim of which would be to give Bush all the power for an indefinite number of years.
You think the latter is impossible? If this is possible, then anything is possible.

The Onion: "In an announcement that has alarmed voters across the nation, Vice President Dick Cheney said Monday that he will personally attack the U.S. if Sen. John Kerry wins the next election."
This is supposed to be satire. However, the sting is in the tail. Actually, the Bush administration is already attacking America, hitting the Americans, as well as having a go at total world domination.
"Through a combination of George Bush, cult Christians, Republican ostriches, corporate welfare queens, Fox news, outsourcing, the Patriot Act, Diebold and the military, our Dick has finally found the perfect vehicle - the aces-wild winning hand - to finally get what he wants: Power over you and me."
Mosnews: "The United States is seen as Russia's prime foreign enemy according to a poll by the nation's Public Opinion Foundation last week. With 68 percent of respondents convinced Russia had enemies abroad that could start a war, 25 percent said that the chief enemy was the United States."
In previous years Russia loved America; George W. Bush managed to destroy the goodwill. And the Russians are right:
CDI: "The U.S. Air Force, for the first time ever, has developed and approved a new doctrine document outlining the service's approach to warfare in space. Called Counterspace Operations (AFDD 2-2.1) and dated Aug. 2, 2004, the doctrine details the planning and execution of operations against space systems and satellites, both for defensive and offensive purposes.
In effect, the new document establishes as fact U.S. Air Force intentions not only to weaponize space, but also conduct anti-satellite operations, possibly preemptively, against enemy military satellites as well as those with primarily civilian functions and satellites owned and/or operated by third-parties (whether governments or commercial entities)."
Not all fascists look like Adolf Hitler.
Cheating and illegal action is their game. Prisoners disappear. Unfairness during election time. "Seven American activist groups asked the United Nations on Monday to provide international observers for next month's presidential election." But is this more than a drop in the ocean?

Guardian: "Is social justice possible in a world dominated by corporate globalisation? This Friday, more than 20,000 people, drawn from social movements, peace organisations and trade unions across Europe and the world, will converge on London for the third European Social Forum to debate how to change direction. The experience of two countries, in particular, poses the question most starkly: Germany's welfare state reforms under Gerhard Schröder, and the transformation of Venezuela under Hugo Chavez. The fundamental issue is: does society serve the economy, or should the economy serve society?
Every apparently economic choice is, in reality, social. We can choose a society of basic rights - education, health, housing, child support and a dignified pension - or greed, pandemic inequality, ecological vandalism, civic chaos and social despair. As Jonathan Swift satirically suggested, if economic efficiency is the only issue, why not solve all problems by eating children?"
