Wednesday, my blog was 'exposed' on 3-Blogs A Day: "Another blog in the category Renaissance Blogs, as in blogs that cover a variety of more aesthetic topics. Way too much to describe though. Check it out and get lost for hours."
I am flattered.
11:14:50 PM

Arizona Daily Star: "The U.S. government is sending a team of 20 scientists to check out a report of unusual radiation readings that could be coming from a hydrogen bomb that was lost off the Georgia coast in 1958.
A crippled B-47 bomber dumped the H-bomb into the Atlantic Ocean 46 years ago after colliding with a fighter jet during a training flight.
The bomb, believed buried in 10 to 15 feet of mud at the bottom of the sea, became one of 11 'Broken Arrows' - nuclear bombs lost during air or sea accidents, according to U.S. military records."
10:55:20 PM

LCV: "President Bush's environmental performance may be gauged by the fact that he received an 'F' on his most recent LCV Presidential Report Card - the first failing grade given to a president in LCV's history. On issue after issue - public lands, clean air and water, toxics, energy, wildlife conservation - the Bush administration, at the behest of its corporate allies, has worked systematically to dismantle and subvert fundamental environmental protections while obscuring their actions with 'green' rhetoric. The results have been nothing short of disastrous for America's natural resources and have made unseating President Bush LCV's primary goal for 2004."
The same holds true for his Cowboy Code grade. He doesn't even deserve the title 'Cowboy'. As I have said before, Dubya is a hooligan.
Federal Judges seem to increasingly acknowledge this fact: "A key part of the USA Patriot Act that allows the FBI to secretly demand information from Internet providers violates the U.S. Constitution, a federal judge said Wednesday in a ruling that could have a broad impact on government surveillance."
(Via "Doug's"): The Lone Star Iconoclast supported Bush in 2000, not any longer: "Few Americans would have voted for George W. Bush four years ago if he had promised that, as President, he would:
- Empty the Social Security trust fund by $507 billion to help offset fiscal irresponsibility and at the same time slash Social Security benefits.
- Cut Medicare by 17 percent and reduce veterans' benefits and military pay.
- Eliminate overtime pay for millions of Americans and raise oil prices by 50 percent.
- Give tax cuts to businesses that sent American jobs overseas, and, in fact, by policy encourage their departure.
- Give away billions of tax dollars in government contracts without competitive bids.
- Involve this country in a deadly and highly questionable war, and
- Take a budget surplus and turn it into the worst deficit in the history of the United States, creating a debt in just four years that will take generations to repay."

There is another hooligan, Tony Blair: "Britain was involved in planning for war in Iraq for at least nine months before MPs approved military action, according to a document apparently leaked from the Pentagon." And when Parliament voted on the decision, they did so on the basis of false information. Then the media helped to push the war agenda.
