For I will not trust in my bow, neither shall my sword save me.
(Psalms 44;6)

The ongoing 'war against terror' is producing more terror. Not only in London, but all over the world. The myth behind it all as proclaimed by Bush and Blair is that it is necessary to spread peace, democracy and freedom.
What we really see is perpetual war (they promised us a long war), the breaking down of democracy and no freedom. What is called 'free trade' is a one-way freedom, just another word for greed. At a moment when again we should be focusing on a real crisis of poverty and famine, the rich of this earth get richer and richer and use their money only to obtain more wealth. Instead of spending money on worthy causes, our governments are investing and spending in futile wars.

DemocratsDiary: "The primary obligation upon any government is the duty of care towards its citizens, a duty best expressed by the phrase 'first, do no harm'. The least that citizens can expect of their government is that it will not actively pursue policies that harm them, or place them in harm's way. Any failure to honour this duty of care renders a government unfit to hold office in the most basic and fundamental sense.
Now, after a second attack on London in as many weeks, Britons may wish to take another look at those to whom they have entrusted their safety and security. They may wish to reflect on the fact that their government is deliberately and repeatedly ignoring the advice of the UK's intelligence services, departmental advisers and independent experts, and pursuing policies that are increasing the threat of terrorist attacks on Britain."

The shooting of one suspected bomber in London is not necessarily a good thing. If the man was innocent this will only exacerbate the situation. If he was guilty, the police lost a good opportunity to learn more of the man, his reasons and links.
