These are the 9 edicts of the Underdog Democratic Manifesto:
1. We Are the Progressive Party, Remember? (Right!)
2. Focus Inward. (It's your fault, not theirs.)
3. Don't Move Right, Don't Move Left, Don't Move Anywhere! (Duck and cover!)
4. Take Risks. (Change that to Don't Take Risks if you feel inclined to.)
5. Play The Whole Field. (From millionaires to estate agents.)
6. It's About $ (but its Not.) (It's the economy, stupid!)
7. We Need a War Room. (Introduce mob rule.)
8. Flip the Debate. (Better still, don't debate.)
9. Most Importantly, The 'U' Factor. (Actually this should be 'me, myself and I', follow the republicans in this.)

WOKR: "British police investigating last week's failed terror attacks said they found a large amount of possible explosives in a North London apartment Tuesday."
'Possible explosives', yes, right, what kind of explosives are these? Bleach, methylated spirit from your local chemist's? British police are very inventive and they are more careful than a few years ago when they 'discovered' the deadly ricin in London, which only much later turned out to be a false positive, in normal words 'completely wrong'.

Meanwhile, in the country of Big Bro ...
DailyTelegraph: "In a dramatic sign of the city's edginess since the London transit bombings, police evacuated buildings, shut midtown streets and forced about 60 terrified tourists to march off the double-decker bus, with their hands up, in the heart of Broadway.
Officers in riot gear handcuffed a group of apparently harmless South Asian-looking men with British accents after a jittery tour bus worker reported they seemed suspicious."

We apparently live in the 'best' of all 'possible' worlds. It was to be expected with a president like George that his police officers would confuse 'tourists' with 'terrorists'. Dubya pronounces both words in the same way, so they 'are' the same. Tourists, after all, are 'possible' terrorists.
