ElectronicIraq: "The U.S. Government is now openly supporting the Mujahideen-e-Khalq, an Iranian resistance movement designated as terrorist organization by the US State Department.
The Mujahideen-e-Khalq (MEK) is a Marxist oriented Iranian resistance organization founded in the 1960's to topple the pro-western regime of Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi.
MEK killed several American military and civilian personnel in Iran during the 1970's, and assisted in the occupation of the US embassy in Tehran in 1979 where American civilians were held hostage."
The Bush regime would pact with the devil if it is profitable. After all, who created the mess we are in now in Afghanistan and the world at large? The US government.
MilliGazette: "The CIA worked in tandem with Pakistan to create the 'monster' that is today Afghanistan's ruling Taliban, a leading US expert on South Asia said here."

ScienceDaily: "A sign outside a Jacksonville, Fla., church proclaims, 'Islam is evil and believes in murder. Jesus teaches peace.'"
That is very, very strange. If Jesus teaches peace, why have the US and the UK started a war against Iraq then? So Jesus believes in murder? That is disgusting.

ChristianAlliance: "The success of the religious right in appropriating the language of Christianity has led many people to become generally wary of religion in the public sphere and of Christianity in particular. The religious right has used the language of Christianity to promote an extreme and divisive political agenda that has helped polarize our nation. But foundational Christian values like compassion, justice and peace are largely absent from our political discussion. And there are millions of Christian Americans who share progressive views, or, at a minimum, are increasingly turned off by the extreme rhetoric and political agenda of the religious right."

People with real courage and real Christian values don't kill.
SFGate: "Sgt. Kevin Benderman turned his back on war, but he insists he never deserted the Army whose uniform he continues to wear six months after refusing to deploy to Iraq for a second tour.
Benderman served in Iraq during the 2003 invasion, but says he decided he could no longer be a part of the destruction he witnessed, even if that meant choosing his conscience over his commitment to his fellow troops."
Kevin Benderman deserves our support. He is a true American.

Not only the religious right is cashing in on the war, security forces are eager to break open their complete arsenal, including stun guns, and give us 'the works' and a good show. The boys with their toys can fling wide the floodgates of violence.
