Now that we know that at least some of the 'insurgents' are British undercover agents (and you can bet on it there are more of those on the American side), can we be sure that the so-called Al-Qaeda leader, Al-Zarqawi, really exists?
ICH: "Last week, over 200 civilians were killed in seemingly random acts of violence purportedly caused by al-Zarqawi. But, were they?
Were these massive attacks the work of al-Zarqawi as the western media reports or some other 'more shadowy' force?"
Two reasons for these British and American undercover operations could be the blame they could lay on the insurgents and second they would justify a continued military occupation, which would not be tolerated by the Iraqi government if the situation were more peaceful.
Bush and Blair lost their innocence years ago.

NYTimes: "After the levees broke, five feet of water filled Methodist's reception area within 15 minutes. Fires started when the main generator shorted out. But people kept arriving.
The 827 people inside - 137 of them patients - stayed relatively calm until Wednesday, when food and water ran short and the heat reached 110 degrees. 'You get a feeling of, Does anybody know we're here?' Ms. McCall said.
She was told by top officials at Universal Health Services, the company that runs the hospital, that they had rented two trucks with food, water and diesel fuel and sent them on, 'but they were confiscated by federal authorities', she said. The company also hired two helicopters, but officials refused to let them fly, she said. Company officials declined to comment."
Help was available but federal authorities blocked it - as previous posts will document further - and people were left to die. These authorities are directly responsible for the death of hundreds of people.

An independent inquiry into the rescue failures is being blocked by the Republicans. When Bush himself and his own administration lead the inquiry we already know it will be a whitewash.

John Kerry: "This is about the broader pattern of incompetence and negligence that Katrina exposed, and beyond that, a truly systemic effort to distort and disable the people's government, and devote it to the interests of the privileged and the powerful. It is about the betrayal of trust and abuse of power."

USAToday: "The youngest son of Florida Gov. Jeb Bush was arrested early Friday and charged with public intoxication and resisting arrest, law enforcement officials said."

TalkingPointsMemo: "The Office of Federal Procurement Policy handles procurement policy for the White House's Office of Management and Budget.
Until Friday the Administrator of the office was David Hossein Safavian.
Today he was arrested on a three count indictment.
David Hossein Safavian was arrested today based on a three- count criminal complaint filed at federal court in Washington, D.C. The complaint charges Safavian with making false statements to a GSA ethics officer and the GSA-OIG, along with obstruction of a GSA-OIG investigation."

Have some fun with George W.M.D. Bush, the man whose wings take dream and who can fool you once, fool you twice, shame on you.
Or have a good cry.
