Scotsman: "An anti-sleaze watchdog has defied Tony Blair by calling for more controls on former ministers and civil servants securing lucrative jobs in the private sector.
The Advisory Committee on Business Appointments (ACoBA), which scrutinises the plans of outgoing politicians and mandarins to take up jobs after government, has decisively rejected calls for its powers to be dramatically reduced."
The Government is currently undertaking a review of these arrangements for business appointments.
