ElectronicIntifada: "Research undertaken by United Civilians for Peace, a Dutch NGO-platform dedicated to promoting justice and peace in Palestine and Israel, has revealed that Dutch company Lima Holding BV, in Spijkenisse, is involved in the construction of the illegal Wall that Israel is building in the occupied West Bank."

Independent: "The conflict in Gaza has attracted relatively little international attention, not least because for five weeks it was overshadowed by that in Lebanon. But the death toll has continued to rise."

The Dutch government is very gullible in its dealings with the US and other nations. Re Afghanistan, Dutch troops were sent on the condition that they were going to contribute to the rebuilding. Now they are already participating in fierce fighting. It is time to get out now.
NATO in Afghanistan (pdf report): "The debate in the Dutch parliament over assigning troops to ISAF was the most contentious in NATO member states. The Dutch population opposes sending forces into a combat operation. Ultimately, the Netherlands designated 1,400 to 1,700 troops for duty in ISAF's Stage Three operation."

CorpWatch: "CACI, for California Analysis Center, Inc. (also known as Colonels and Captains), is among the top 10 information providers in the Fortune 500. The company was founded in 1962 as a computer-engineering firm, and later moved into network management for federal, state, and local governments. The company claims that, since Abu Ghraib, it no longer is in the interrogation business, but it remains a major intelligence contractor. Corporate spying has become a booming business - it's estimated that half of the $46 billion classified intelligence budget is handled by the private sector, including everything from intelligence analysis to managing spy satellites."

Guardian: "The attorney general warned the US at the weekend that its bill to try to limit its obligations under the Geneva convention while interrogating and trying detainees risked international condemnation."

Although much of the information is available in a variety of documents, until now it has not been compiled in one place. The allegations against some of those on the list have been well publicized while the activities of others have gone relatively unnoticed.
