YNetnews: "According to a Saturday report by the Washington Post, the Bush administration has intensified efforts to 'choke off' the ability of Iranian banks to transfer funds to Hizbullah and Palestinian terror organizations, and subsequently, to hamper these organizations' ability to acquire weapons technology."
Actually, what Bush is doing is choking off the financial life in Iran, it's not about terrorists, it's about imposing the will of the US. You don't for a minute believe terrorists go to the bank to get their 'terror' money, do you? And has Bush given any proof of money being transferred to 'terrorist' organisations?

WashingtonPost: "CIA counterterrorism officers have signed up in growing numbers for a government-reimbursed, private insurance plan that would pay their civil judgments and legal expenses if they are sued or charged with criminal wrongdoing, according to current and former intelligence officials and others with knowledge of the program.
The new enrollments reflect heightened anxiety at the CIA that officers may be vulnerable to accusations they were involved in abuse, torture, human rights violations and other misconduct, including wrongdoing related to the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks. They worry that they will not have Justice Department representation in court or congressional inquiries, the officials said.
The anxieties stem partly from public controversy about a system of secret CIA prisons in which detainees were subjected to harsh interrogation methods, including temperature extremes and simulated drowning. The White House contends the methods were legal, but some CIA officers have worried privately that they may have violated international law or domestic criminal statutes."

Has Israel finally decided to admit the existence of the Dimona nuclear reactor that is mainly used to produce nuclear bombs? I suppose the purpose of having nuclear bombs is deterrence. No sane person would ever use them, especially not against countries that are almost neighbours. Israel will not use them (I am not so sure about the mini-nukes), neither will Iran if they should ever produce them. But you can't be sure about the madmen in the White House who are working on strategies to use mini-nukes in warfare.
The picture shows the suspected location of the reactor (the image is camouflaged on Google Earth, but it is a likely candidate, just check the Dimona area on Google Earth).
