NederlandsNieuws: Ria Lubbers, wife of the former Dutch Prime-Minister and former UN High Commissioner for Refugees, has accused the US of conspiring to remove her husband from his post at the UN.
One of Lubbers' collaborators had accused him of 'sexual harassment'. Ruud Lubbers was declared not guilty, but the leaking of a confidential report to The Independent - all too eager to publish a juicy story - made him resign.
According to Ria Lubbers the reason for the slander campaign by the US was her husband's condemnation of the war against Iraq.

Ruud Lubbers was an honest politician who didn't like the American interference with other states.
Expatica: "The CIA asked the Netherlands not to detain Pakistani scientist Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan for stealing nuclear secrets from a Dutch facility, former Prime Minister Ruud Lubbers has claimed."

TheSmirkingChimp: "The perpetrator of the 2001 anthrax attack on Congress likely was a government scientist employed at the Army's Ft. Detrick, Md., bioterrorism lab having access to a 'moonsuit' that made it possible to safely process and manufacture super-weapons-grade anthrax, a bioterrorism authority says.
Although only a handful of scientists had the ability to perpetrate the crime, the culprit, or culprits, among them may never be identified as the FBI ordered the destruction of the anthrax culture collection at Ames, Ia., from which the Ft. Detrick lab got its pathogens, the authority said.

This action made it impossible 'to pin-point precisely where, when, and from whom these bio-agents had originated,' said Dr. Francis A. Boyle of the University of Illinois at Champaign.
Boyle, who drafted the U.S. Biological Weapons Convention of 1989 that was enacted by Congress, says destruction of the Ames anthrax 'appears to be a cover-up orchestrated by the FBI'.

If impartial scientists could have performed genetic reconstruction of the anthrax found in letters mailed to Senators Daschle(D-S.D.) and Patrick Leahy, (D -Vt.), 'the trail of genetic evidence would have led directly back to a secret but officially-sponsored U.S. government biowarfare program that was illegal and criminal' in violation of biological weapons conventions and U.S. laws, Boyle said.
'I believe the FBI knows exactly who was behind these terrorist anthrax attacks upon the United States Congress in the Fall of 2001, and that the culprits were U.S. government-related scientists involved in a criminal U.S. government biowarfare program,' Boyle said.'
The anthrax attacks killed five people, including two postal workers, injured 17 others, and temporarily shut down the operations of the U.S. Congress, Supreme Court, and other Federal entities."

An attack on Congress is an attack on the Constitution of the United States. Like in the case of the murder of president Kennedy, the criminals will never be arrested.

BBC: "A Pakistani judge has ruled there is not enough evidence to try a key suspect in an alleged airline bomb plot on terrorism charges.
He has moved the case of Rashid Rauf, a Briton, from an anti-terrorism court to a regular court, where he faces lesser charges such as forgery.
The arrest of Rashid Rauf in Pakistan triggered arrests in the United Kingdom of a number of suspects allegedly plotting to blow up transatlantic flights.
As well as forgery charges, Mr Rauf has also been charged with carrying explosives.
But his lawyer says police evidence amounts only to bottles of hydrogen peroxide found in his possession."

Britain must be full of 'terrorists' in possession of hydrogen peroxide.
Don't misunderestimate 'terrism'! All those women wanting to bleach their hair, they are 'terrists', all of them.

Independent: "Peace protesters and civil rights groups celebrated an 'enormous victory for free speech' after the House of Lords condemned the police for preventing a demonstration outside an airbase used in the Iraq war."

Nestmann: "Because it's difficult to track cash transactions, the US government over the last 35 years has quietly enacted civil forfeiture laws that make it possible for police to confiscate cash or other property with near-zero evidence of any wrongdong. The states have followed suit with their own civil forfeiture laws, mostly modeled on US statutes. And even if a state lacks its own confiscation law, state agencies can use federal civil forfeiture laws to confiscate cash or other property and receive a kickback of up to 80% from the federal government.

When the government seizes your property under a civil forfeiture law, it doesn't need to prove you did anything wrong. All it needs to do is to demonstrate, by a preponderance of the evidence, that your property is subject to forfeiture."

Under a criminal government it's the innocent, truthloving citizen who is suspect.
