RepresentativePress: "The Bush Administration is committing fraud again in order to sell another war to the American people. How much fraud do we allow the Bush Administration to commit before we start impeachment proceedings?
Once again spineless cowards in our intelligence agencies are allowing the Bush Administration to commit fraud in order to start another war.
Tell your politicians to do their job to uphold the Constitution and to start impeachment proceedings immediately.
Flynt Leverett worked as a senior director for Middle East affairs at the National Security Council, the NSC, and he was a CIA analyst. Leverett reveals that he has been censored by the White House for purely political reasons.
Flynt Leverett and his wife wrote an Op-Ed for the New York Times but the White House threatened him with criminal prosecution in order to prevent him from publishing his article."
Video.

UPI: "U.S. Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y., said she wouldn't have supported a call for action against Iraq if she knew then what she knows now."
Of course we know, Mrs Clinton, that your husband was too busy with other things to inform you about the political situation, but isn't it your job as a politician to know about foreign affairs, in particular things blogs have known years before you did?

ICH: "The US Army is considering measures to force striking workers back to their jobs at a Goodyear Tire & Rubber plant in Kansas in the face of a looming shortage of tyres for Humvee trucks and other military equipment used in Iraq and Afghanistan.
A strike involving 17,000 members of the United Steelworkers union has crippled 16 Goodyear plants in the US and Canada since October 5."

FinancialTimes: "Oil producing countries have reduced their exposure to the dollar to the lowest level in two years and shifted oil income into euros, yen and sterling, according to new data from the Bank for International Settlements.
The review shows that Qatar and Iran, whose foreign exchange policy has sparked widespread market speculation, cut their dollar holdings by $2.4bn and $4bn respectively.
Such shifts may be modest compared with the total assets held, but they provide a crucial indication on future thinking.
Currency switches are likely to be progressive, subtle and discreet, as untoward attention could hit the dollar, lowering the value of depositors' remaining dollar-denominated assets."

FinancialSense: "The US is insolvent. There is simply no way for our national bills to be paid under current levels of taxation and promised benefits. Our federal deficits alone now total more than 400% of GDP.
That is the conclusion of a recent Treasury/OMB report entitled Financial Report of the United States Government that was quietly slipped out on a Friday (12/15/06), deep in the holiday season, with little fanfare. Sometimes I wonder why the Treasury Department doesn't just pay somebody to come in at 4:30 am Christmas morning to release the report. Additionally, I've yet to read a single account of this report in any of the major news media outlets but that is another matter.

It seems clear that the nation's current fiscal path is unsustainable and that tough choices by the President and the Congress are necessary in order to address the nation's large and growing long-term fiscal imbalance."

If you have a huge debt and have the power to manipulate your currency, what would you do to reduce your debt? Devalue the dollar of course!
The laws of capitalism are relentless. I wouldn't be surprised if the devaluation of the dollar was not triggered by foreign US dollar holders, but by the US government itself.
Even in the worst case of a total collapse and impotence of coming US governments, the neocons would still continue to make their profits without any interference whatsoever from an incapacitated government. A neocon economy is an Armageddon economy.
