I don't understand why many people are slamming Google over Gmail. Have they taken a look at Yahoo or Hotmail?

I think the GB of space will be very useful - imagine to have every business email ever, at hand and searchable. The are some emailed promises and offers and threats I received that would be fun to still have.

Don't get me wrong I am a big believer in editing...it is very important, especially now, so you don't have to wade through 1,000 mediocre jpegs to find the photo you were hoping to have.... - but I believe Gmail is going to come in very handy and signed up.

Ben & Jerry's ice cream stores are switching to green freezers which employ soundwaves instead of chemicals to do their cooling.... [Another World Is Here]
And these sound waves will really 'scream for ice cream': they will be attached to amplifiers generating 183 decibels, a sound level thousands of times beyond rock concert levels.
I hope they are using some very good sound insulation...I want fridges to get more quiet, not louder.

Keywords: Travel, Italy, Music, Leda Battisti
It's already been a year since I have been in Italy. I miss it.

A year ago I was in Milan to record guitar for Leda Battisti. Last night I listened to the music again. The record turned out quite beautiful, I think. I am happy with my performances, although I could do without the snippet of me talking that Leda and her guys decided to put at the beginning of one song....

Unfortunately the boneheads (this term usually describes record company folk in my vocabulary - not the cool ones and not my friends, but the faceless and clueless generic record company folks, dig?) still have not released Leda's album, twelve months later.

I think this third CD would be her strongest album yet. Hopefully it will be released this Summer.

Hmm, how to start this one.... how about this: I always find day 2 of anything difficult. day 1 always seems a bit brighter, the newness of anything has a little more zip and nervousness and sensuality, where day 2 tends to be a dance between "should I repeat, or look for something new" etc.... the pitfalls become more apparent, the adrenalin wears off, and the real work begins..
I couldn't agree more. The first day is never the problem...

I am very, very good at getting initial results, whether it is working on my own stuff or someone else's recording, whether it is a game or anything like that - it's the distance that is the work for me. And no, I don't have ADHD. My family couldn't even afford a TV until I was twelve and my grand parents upgraded to color and we got the old black + white set!

Great new section on integral naked where Billy Corgan talks about going solo...
