Been down so long, it looks like up to me.
It's been so long since I've had a finished object (FO), I thought I'd display a couple just to remember what it feels like.

Poodle Sweater
This is a little raglan funnel neck I designed with the help of my good friend Knitware Design Software. The wrist hems and neck are done triple-stranded in fabulous loop stitch. (The tea cozy featured in the link looks a bit like a hedge hog, don't you think?)
And here's:

Colinette Point Five, One Better
I originally knit this sweater using the kicky pattern on the front of a Point Five pattern book, but when I put it on, I looked like I should audition as a Valkerie. (Way too much breast, if you get my drift.) Elizabeth Zimmerman, rest her soul, has many wise things to say about knitting, but perhaps the wisest...
"Sweaters made in all-rib tend to adhere inordinately, so if you want to wear a ribbed sweater and retain your dignity, be sure that it has many more stitches than you would think possible."
Back to Knitware, redesigned it with lots of ease, a boat neck and set-in sleeves. Ah, much better.
