Caveat emptor
Just received my "worsted" alpaca cone from Alpaca Amore. Beautiful lavender color. Soft as a kitty. But worsted weight? Fingering, man. You'll be fine if you just remember it's fingering. Great deal at $20.25 for 500 grams. There's also a pistachio color that's to die for. (No affiliation, just love dem camelids.)
Daily war rant: Nake-id Knits sends kudos to decorated Vietnam vet Sen. John Kerry who basically said, regime change begins at home. Republicans blasted his statements as grossly self-serving. A spokesperson for Kerry, quipped:
"Unlike many of his Republican critics, Senator Kerry has worn the uniform, served his country, seen combat, so he'd just as soon skip their lectures about supporting our troops."
Yeah!
