Another poncho enters the world
Cribbing FO's: While I twiddle with no-needle cabling, cousin Stephanie has been prancing about in the above--her brand-new, hot-off-the-needles poncho. Want details? Knit double-stranded with Jo Sharp Tweed in Licorice and Jo Sharp DK in Night, the poncho is basically two, garter-stitch rectangles about 20 inches wide and 28 inches long. The pieces are sewn together in such a way as to create a tight V-neck, which on my instruction, ahem, Stephanie finished by picking up stitches around and then binding off. (Who did I steal that from? Becky?) Add some fringe and voila! Colorado girl. (Ain't she cute? Know any cute Jewish doctors in the Western U.S.?)
