"Prambulate" in style: Goo-lala progresses much to the delight of this knitter. Having stitched several eensy cardies and blouson pant suits, this dress is a treat. (Notice the pleats, por favor. Aren't they swell?) Appropos of this project, I've been listening to the Nanny Diaries on tape while I knit; an almost perfect solution to the knitting vs. reading quandry. (On the Nanny Diaries: Clearly, the authors are documenting a civilization in decline. Will the Dixie Chicks fiddle when D.C. burns?)
Strapped in her Bugaboo Frog stroller, the little darling will be a vision in fuschia tooling around Central Park and waving to the masses. Stay tuned as Goo-la-la continues to unfold.
