Milestone
Whew: After weeks of gift knitting--the toughy being Sally Melville's "Where's the Opaque" top (garter stitch on size 4 mm needles is like watching paint dry. And that La Fiesta rayon boucle, ew, hate it--catches every hangnail and dry bit of skin)--mama is ready to rhumba on Audrey. The rest of the summer, folks, the knitting's all about me. 'Cause if mama ain't happy. Nobody's happy!
Converge at Convergence: The Handweaver's Guild of America opens its biennual conference tomorrow (I'm working noon-7) at the Colorado Convention Center. Though it's weaving focused, there will be tons o' yarn vendors. Come say "hi!"
