Mostly news stories or articles of interest in the future to me. I'll eventually get around to adding my own ideas and stories on a more regular basis.

Xando has the best hot chocolate EVER!  And, you know what else is awesome?  Spending an evening with friends.  I went from work to dinner with one friend.  Spent two hours with her and then drove into the city for hot chocolate with another friend.  So much talking.  Being an extreme E, I've got a lot to say and I sure feel better after saying it all.  :)

On a more interesting note, I've been reading this great Business Process Management (the third wave) book and it's great. So far I've read WHY business people should be in charge of business processes rather than the current IT/application driven land.  Pretty soon I'll be telling you how to make that happen.

It's funny to me that I can enjoy reading this stuff as much as a good story.  I'm a dorky-girl, I suppose.  :)

G'night!

Wireless power pads.  Nice if there were any products that supported it.  I have broken, not one but two, power cord connections to laptops.  The power connector is merely soldered to the laptop's motherboard which can easily break.  Of course, the laptop manufacturers don't have that low cost part available for replacement.  Imagine a powerpad on every desk you own, built into airline drop-down trays, or on conference desktops.  Nice.  One less item for the tote bag. USB keychain with a camera. Philips is shipping a $99, 64MB USB keychain with a built-in, no-driver 1.4 megapixel 640x480 camera. Link

How cool is that?!  I definitely should get this or the cam/phone soon...

Defending the Godless Among Us. They're called atheists, secularists and philosophical naturalists. Or you could just call them 'bright.' A commentary by Richard Dawkins from Wired magazine. [Wired News]

Oh, I like the idea of the "godless" going by "Bright."
