Hard Right. You want to see just how delusional the left is? Check out this op-ed in the Guardian.
This is a hard-right administration offering virtually no concessions to the soothing niceties that might make it more electorally attractive to voters who are not Republicans. Its tax policy is grotesquely loaded against the masses and in favour of the rich. Its bias... [Right-Thinking from the Left Coast]

Governor Sleazo. Good old Ché Davis, he always comes through with the attacks.
Embattled California Gov. Gray Davis, while admitting he made some mistakes, accused the Republican party on Tuesday of staging "a right-wing power grab" through a recall election in the nation's most populous state. "This recall is bigger than California. What's happening... [Right-Thinking from the Left Coast]

SCO starts to show the beef (zdnet) After enduring weeks of doubt over the code allegedly copied from its Unix to Linux, SCO Group is using its partner and customer conference to put that doubt to rest. Citing hundreds of thousands of lines of code, much of it copied verbatim from one operating system to the other, SCOSource chief Chris Sontag said, "I can understand one or two lines being in common. But when you're talking about this level of variables being the same, the comment sections all being the same, it's problematic." Sontag showed samples of the code during a slide show and said more would be revealed to those who sign a non-disclosure agreement. How this will affect the case is anyone's guess. While GPL advocates think SCO's distribution of Linux nullifies any right to royaties, SCO clearly thinks this is one of their aces in the hole.
Now this is starting to get interesting. (LP)

Rebuilt Enola Gay Unveiled in Washington. [Planenews Aviation News Portal]
Its about time they stopped hiding this plane for fear of offending some Japanese! Hey! - if you don't want to be bombed into the stone age then don't attack us - its that simple. My Mother and Father were both in the US Army in WWII. I must have heard the saying "Alls fair in Love and War" a thousand times while growing up. I just can't get it out of my head that it should be that way. All this Political Correctness crap can just go to hell. I am so angry about what PC has done to this country I could hit something. I won't though - I will just continue to strike out with my keyboard once in a while. There - I feel better already. (LP)

'Bush Good, Saddam Bad!' (WSJ.com) A Marine reports from Iraq, where things are far better than the media let on.
AL HILLAH, Iraq--There's more to America than New York, Washington and Los Angeles. The same is true for Iraq; there's a vast country outside Baghdad and the "Sunni triangle" that's now the center of a guerrilla campaign. It's understandable that Western press reports are fixated on attacks that kill American soldiers. But that focus is obscuring what's actually happening in the rest of the country--and it misleads the public into thinking that Iraqis are growing angry and impatient with their liberators.

John Wayne. "I've always followed my father's advice: he told me, first to always keep my word and, second, to never insult anybody unintentionally. If I insult you, you can be goddamn sure I intend to. And, third, he told me not to go around looking for trouble." [Motivational Quotes of the Day]
