Co-opting King. Today is the 40th anniversary of Martin Luther King's famous "I have a dream" speech. A New York Times article about this past weekend's celebration of the historic March on Washington, at which King gave his speech, noted that...... [Cox & Forkum]

Speaking of the Undead. It's football time in Tennessee, and the Vols are ready to take the field. Maybe. The weather forecast is for... [Shots Across The Bow]

The Cheney Conspiracy. Halliburton is making an assload of money in Iraq. Lefties are pointing to this as proof of some sort of complicity and corporate payback. The simple fact, folks, is that this is the legacy of Clinton's decimation of the military. With a force as small as the one we have now, we need trained soldiers to pick up a rifle and fight. and this is another test. I wonder what has happened to my little flag waver? He suddenly refuses to appear in any of my posts. Did I wear him out? Did he go on vacation? I wonder if I discovered a bug (issue) with Radio that limits the number of times you can use one picture in your home page? Please come back little flag waver. I was using you as a way to separate posts so things don't look run together. I'm willing to discuss working conditions and pay but you have to tell me what the problem is before I can do anything about it. Please contact me! We miss you! (LP)
