Happy Days Are Here Again  Blogger Todd Bass notes some good news from Afghanistan. "The new national currency, the afghani, is widely accepted and stable," reports The Economist. "The economy grew by 28% last year, according to preliminary IMF estimates." You wouldn't know it, though, from reading Newsweek. An article by Sami Yousafzai and Ron Moreau claims that "for more than a year, Afghanistan has been sinking deeper into poverty, chaos and despair while the White House focuses on Iraq." The Dowd Is Sinking. Through a series of op-eds, Dowd really nosedives into the bipolar world of delusion. Case in point...she insists that Bush "...doesn’t want us to know" what went wrong during the period preceding 9/11. Hey Maureen, I’ll give you a hint: [Zogby Blog] Its not just Dowd.  Its all the libs.  They seem to have gone insane right after the last presidential election.  Then Iraq really pushed them over the edge.  Now they constantly foam at the mouth.  Its pathetic, sad, and funny all at the same time.  If they were a sports team you would say they were poor losers or all engaging in unsportsmanlike conduct.  If Bush wins again we will need the whole island of Cuba to hold them where they will just wander around aimlessly drooling at the mouth.
