ANOTHER REPORT FROM IRAQ sounding a common theme: Both men said they are glad to be home visiting their families - and feel honored and grateful for all the support they received from the community while they were in the Middle East. Both of them also said things are going... [Instapundit.com]

Another Star Jackass [Right We Are!]
• Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band performed at Fed-Ex Field last weekend, and between classic numbers, like “Born to Run,” the Boss got political. At one point he said he welcomes fans of all ideological persuasions to his concerts, “with the exception of [Vice President] Dick Cheney. I’m not sure about him,” he told the crowd.
Later Springsteen said President Bush ought to be impeached and started chanting, “Impeach, impeach.” But the call was not picked up by the multitude, some of whom even began to boo.
Another Star who doesn't understand the makeup of his own audience. Pathetic! (LP)

Question of the Day
If they have them - why haven't they used them?
If you read the article below, and if you believe the Russians, and if you believe they would have no reason to lie about it, then there are up to 60 of these things out there somewhere in the bad guys hands. The thought that keeps going through my head is - why would they go to all the time, trouble, and expense of doing the 911 thing the way they did and not just use the nuke to take out a whole city? The only thing I can come up with is that they either don't have them, or they don't have the expertise to use them. Anyone have any other ideas? (LP)

Nuke! Not if, but when?
Shays said an adviser to Russian President Vladimir Putin had initially admitted to his committee that "out of 140 of [their tactical nukes], the Russians could only account for about 80 of them."

Ann's naming names and their not nice ones!
During my recent book tour, I resisted the persistent, illiterate request that I name traitors. With a great deal of charity – and suspension of disbelief – I was willing to concede that many liberals were merely fatuous idiots. (In addition, I was loathe to name names for fear that liberals would start jumping out of windows.) But after the Times' despicable editorial on the two-year anniversary of the 9-11 terrorist attack, I am prepared – just this once – to name a traitor: Pinch Sulzberger, publisher of the New York Times.
