-------------------- Check this out - you can talk on IM directly to the Scobleman sitting right there at the heart of the Evil Empire.  My only need to ever call MS was a very pleasant experience.  My upgrade to XP had gone without a hitch on my desktop but the laptop would stop half way.  The phone was answered within one minute and the tech knew what the problem was right away.  It required me to start the upgrade install process again and on my slow laptop we were looking at about 30 minutes.  He insisted on staying on the line with me the whole time just in case it stopped again.  I couldn't believe they would devote that much time to someone who had only paid 85 bucks for the upgrade at Staples.  We talked about the weather and a host of other things for 30 minutes while my laptop churned away.  His fix worked perfect and I have been happily use XP for a year now.  Wish I could say the same for some other OS distros when it comes to support.  (LP) 9:40:01 AM
