Michele is grouchy about grouches
And it's not just you anti-nativity people that bother me. It's the anti-capitalism crowd as well. Stop making the holidays about your issues. Like the damn Canadians who last year erected a giant sign that read Gluttony. Envy. Insincerity. Greed. Enjoy Your Christmas. Get over yourselves. I'll go about spreading comfort and joy to my family and friends while you hang around with your humorless, cheerless selves and toast the Grinch. Hell, even the Grinch came around after a while.
There are people in this world who think it is their calling in life to complain about everything. They find no joy in a kid opening an X-Box on Christmas morning. They find nothing wonderful at the sight of new fallen snow gathering around Mary and Joseph's feet as worshipers file out of midnight mass. You are one of these people. You are a joyless, bitter, antagnostic grinch. Do us all a favor and hibernate from Halloween until New Year's. Let us enjoy our holidays in peace, without people like you trying to take the beauty and wonder away from us.

So, why do they hate us? Europeans and Middle Easterners...I'll hazzard a guess.
1. It's about the humiliation of not being the master of your own destiny. Think about the Muslim world ruled by despots and murdering dictators.
2. It's about the humiliation of having to be bailed out multiple times by a bunch of uncultured cowboys. Think about France and Belgium in WWI and WWII (and, in France's case, Viet Nam).
3. And it's about having the error of your ways pointed out to you time and time again. Think about Germany's nationalism and Russia's socialism.

It would be great if you could get the word out on the type of things the military is doing over here. There is too much neagtive press about what is going on. Just the other day, an Iraqi doctor approached me on the street and thanked my soldiers for being there. He also offered me some sagacious advice. He told me we need to get more positive media on the air waves, because all the neagtive press does now is hurt the great strides we have made; water, electricty, fuel, security and not to mention getting the schools to begin operating. The AL Jezra network recently reported that we were on the streets beating children and stealing gold from Iraqis. Follow this up with a segment from CNN on how the troops in Iraq are not well recived. Where once this educated Doctor made a dollar a month for his services under the old Regime, he now can make 100 dollars a month. In the last 2 weeks my men and I have visited over 300 homes in the Mosul area, almost 99% of who we talked to were greatful for all we have done and continue to do.
