-------------------- LA Times scoops em all! Guess where I heard the news first? I was up cruising the net as usual at 2am Pacific time this morning.  For some reason I happened by the LA Times web site which I seldom do anymore.  I spotted this obscure little item (still there at this moment) from the AP.  It seemed funny to me that they would give the capture such a small non headline instead of splashing it all over the headlines.  It was just three short paragraphs about the Iranian's saying he had been captured.  I checked the NY Times and Washington Post and not a peep.  This link will die soon I'm sure.  I'm surprised it's still there.  Guess I better do a screen capture quick. 7:28:24 AM    comment []

-------------------- The Martian's are coming!  The Martian's are coming!  Oh what will we do? Explanation: Wouldn't it be fun if clouds were turtles? Wouldn't it be fun if the laundry on the bedroom chair was a friendly monster? Wouldn't it be fun if rock mesas on Mars were faces or interplanetary monuments? Clouds, though, are small water droplets, floating on air. Laundry is cotton, wool, or plastic, woven into garments. Famous Martian rock mesas known by names like the Face on Mars appear quite natural when seen more clearly, as the above recently released photo shows. Is reality boring? Nobody knows how clouds make lightning. Nobody knows the geological history of Mars. Nobody knows why the laundry on the bedroom chair smells like root beer. Understanding reality brings more questions. Mystery and adventure are never far behind. Perhaps fun and discovery are just beginning.
