La cura de los astros
I woke up this morning with a discontentment similar to yesterday’s, but yesterday the poetry cure worked. This morning I just got frustrated and teary, pushing it aside only enough to dig into the deep pile of work I have to get through over the next couple of days. But over lunch I read the latest Aquarium Age report and it performed the cure I needed, the homeopathic, “like cures like” cure, or maybe the “to name is to know” cure (with all due respect to Siona at Nomen est Numen):
This week, and the next several weeks, fervent intensity continues to challenge body, mind, and spirit, making it hard to find any kind of middle ground. The air, already inflamed with a militant mindset, is so charged that even normally cautious folk feel compelled to take an extreme position…
The report is a generalized view of the current environment – and it certainly seems to apply to current political discourse as well as a lot of militant activity going on around the world. But looking at the specific planetary aspects mentioned in the report and comparing them with my own chart – Bingo! Oh, so that’s what’s going on. I get it. And with that, instant calm descended. There's a discussion in here somewhere about how that works - naming, validating what's going on, etc., but I don't have time at the moment - have to save that for another time. At any rate, now I can look at things more clearly. The advice the astrologer gives is to “stick to the truth,” not what you want that truth to be, and “hold fast to the notion of Higher Ground.” She also says: “Do whatever it is you do to strengthen your connection to Spirit, and allow that alliance to guide your thoughts, words, and deeds.” Always sage advice.
On the other hand, maybe tomorrow I'll have to move on to the retail cure.
Okay, back to work now... Sheesh.
