Like his previous ad and his movie, the television ad really needs to be seen; reading the transcript just doesn't adequetely give you the experience. Senate Campaign News 20040822 A pair of candidate's forums at the Florida League of Cities was the dominant topic of reporting in today's news from Florida's Senate races.  On the Republican forum, the papers focus on Doug Gallagher going after Mel Martinez on a variety of issues, including his television ad, which gives the false impression that Martinez has been endorsed by President Bush. On the Democratic side, Betty Castor and Alex Penelas offered little to argue about, instead they focused on what they agreed on.  Peter Deutsch did not attend as he is an observant Jew and does not capaign on Saturdays.
