Snappy Retorts

According to a story in today's NY Times by David Stout: 

Asked to compare the one-term senator [John Edwards] to Vice President Cheney, President Bush snapped: "Dick Cheney can be president."
Actually, Bush snapped a long time ago, probably on the day he was born, and he hasn't been the same since.
