Doesn't make sense [posted by Troy] Kim & I went for Thai food tonight, and we each got so called "fortune" cookies. Here's what they said:
Mine: "If you don't make mistakes you work to little."
Kim's: "Use your eloquence where it will do the most good."
Do either of these really count as fortunes? According to Merrian-Webster's a fortune is "DESTINY, FATE ; also : a prediction of fortune." When I get a fortune cookie I want some sort of prediction. I want to use the power of the cookie to prepare for things to come. I want a little heads up as to the upcoming events in my life. I don't want some uptight cookie trying to sound overly intelligent.
