We should do this more often. [posted by Troy] As some of you know, we spent the weekend at Ben and Michelle's wedding. (We had a great time. More on this will come later in the week.) Anyway, I had a discussion with Adam of the meaning of the phrase put asunder. This is something that we just don't use much anymore. Asunder is an adjective or adverb that means "into two parts." Put means to place. Thus, the phrase "put asunder," often used in marriage vows means to place into two parts. Last night we put asunder a large sausage pizza...it's true. We totally did.
