Anti-Wikipedia site [posted by Troy] I came across this Chronicle of Higher Education blog post today about the ongoing battle between Encyclopedia Britannica and Wikipedia. Basically, there is a turf war going on between the two with Britannica claiming that Wikipedia is unscholarly and lacking in quality and Wikipedia claiming that both sources have the same amount of errors. In this post, a new player came to my attention: Wikitruth. Wikitruth, which has the motto "the truth was there three revisions ago" (come on that is funny), is a site dedicated to examining the problems with Wikipedia. It's pretty anti-wikipedia, but it makes some good points.

Starts Today [posted by Troy] The Tour de Georgia starts today. This has become the largest pro-cycling event in the US drawing top riders from Europe and the US. Click here for a race preview. Last year's winner, Tom Danielson, rides for the Discover Channel team, which is/was Lance Armstrong's team. US fans want to see if Danielson will repeat.
