Chronicle [posted by Troy]
I was reading the Chronicle on Higher Education today, and I came across an article that compared Clarke College in Dubuque, IA with Grinnell College in Grinnell, IA. Grinnell College has the largest endowment for a liberal arts college in all of the United States at $1.4 billion, while at Clarke student tution and fees pay 2/3 of the college budget. You can read the piece about Clarke here. I mention this because I have close ties to lovely Clarke College, and I have biked through Grinnell.

No More [posted by Troy]
The Outdoor Life Network is . No, this is not a tribute to a Pearl Jam album. Some marketing genius must have come up with this one. The idea is that this channel is all about competition, person versus person, person versus nature, team versus team. You get the idea...maybe.
