Clarke and Grinnell Chronicle [posted by Troy] I was reading the Chronicle on Higher Education today, and I came across an article that compared Clarke College in Dubuque, IA with Grinnell College in Grinnell, IA. Grinnell College has the largest endowment for a liberal arts college in all of the United States at $1.4 billion, while at Clarke student tution and fees pay 2/3 of the college budget.
