MARC [posted by Troy] Here is some sad news. Harriette Avram has passed away. She is the creator of MARC. What is MARC, you may ask? Machine Readable Cataloging format. Back in the 60s, when computers were in their infancy, there was a need to share cataloging between libraries in a standard format. MARC revolutionized the organization of information in this country. Any of you who have used a library in the last 25 years have used Ms. Avram's technology, whether you knew it or not.

3 [posted by Troy] Mission Impossible 2 was about 45 minutes longer than necessary, because the film maker used so much slow motion. I am wondering if Mission Impossible Three will have as much slow motion?
