Post Christmas Bash
We were supposed to have our staff Christmas party in early December. However because one of the employees had a death in the family, we postponed it until last night. It turned out to be a great evening. In fact many people said we should always have our party in January, after the rush of the Christmas season is over. The food was great, the annual silly slide show was a big hit, and I think a good time was had by all.
Annual Purge
I'm well into my annual purge. Last week-end I took five garbage bags of clothing to the Salvation Army, and today someone is coming to look at a bed and dresser I'm selling. The stuff was only used for about a week but I no longer have a need for it. Next comes the book clear out, and clothes for the consignment store. I found a great Rendez-vous skirt at the back of my closet that I never wore, and a like new sweater from Nepal that I can't wear because it's too itchy. Any takers?
Purging feels so good. I'd do a lot more of it, but Joe tends to want to hold on to stuff, so there's a limit to how far I can go without getting myself into trouble.
