TSA Coming to their Senses I noticed this post on Bruce Schneier's blog, and it linked to this article in the Washington Post. It appears as though the TSA is going to finally loosen some of their restrictions when screening passengers. I cannot wait, as I never understood the requirement of all users to remove their shoes--a requirement which was not uniformly followed at all airports. When I was on my trip to Utah, I was forced to remove my sandals and place them on the belt for scanning by the x-ray machine. Now, if only they will allow lighters on checked baggage.
