Please Trade or Release Sir Fatty McFatFat Now! I see Sir Fatty McFatFat has been at it again.  A nice extended trip on the disabled list apparently does not quench the thirst for alcoholic beverages.  Already on the disabled list for a calf-strain and torn thumb ligaments, Sir Orca decided that he would just tie a few on and then get behind the wheel of a car.  Sir Fatty was stopped for tailgating on Interstate 95 just south of Baltimore, and he was arrested for a DUI.  When the hell are Angelos, Beattie, and Flanagan just going to eat his salary and cut his fat ass?  Get rid of him, as he continues to embarrass an already shamed franchise.  Isn't the Palmeiro steroids problem enough?  It's bad enough I can't bear to watch the O's anymore, now they are providing easy reasons to do so.  8:19:01 PM    comment []  trackback []

On Metrosexuality As some have astutely pointed out, there was a discussion at the Blogtimore Happy Hour on the state of my metrosexuality. I do not recall how the discussion started, but I know that my Better Half made some statement to that effect. textureslut was kind enough to administer the test. Lest there be a raging debate--which their should not be--I figured I would stomp it out right here. My shaving regimen alone has qualified me for the title. Facial cleanser, pre-shave oil, shave cream, the most excellent Mach 3 Turbo M3 Power razor, and some post-shave balm. I spent way too much time in college hacking my face off to do that anymore. All these steps do get me a nice smooth shave. By the way, if you shave at all, go buy this razor. It is the friggin' bomb-diggety! When I wear clothes, I am pretty particular about what I wear, especially when it comes to formal wear. If I have to wear a suit or a tuxedo, I will go all out. For me, there is no other way to go. If I have to get dressed up, I am making sure I look my best. I don't buy clothes often, but when I do I tend to visit Jos. A. Bank, Eddie Bauer, The Gap, and the occasional J.Crew or Banana Republic. Bottom line--I try to look good and presentable. If that makes me metrosexual, then so be it. Large Calzone and Boxes Today, I was able to convince my Better Half to let me meet her at her office and take her out for lunch. I have never been able to do that given how far my former workplace was from hers, and it was actually pretty darn fun. We grabbed some food at Vito's Pizza in Owings Mills. They have a pretty tasty calzone, and it was literally as big as my head. I couldn't eat the whole thing, so I will enjoy the rest of said calzone for dinner tonight. After lunch, I headed over to my new office to see drop off my meager posessions--all three boxes. I received the building key so that I may enter and exit when the place is locked. I also saw my office--the office is not quite ready yet, as there will be some people moving around just before my arrival on Monday. All is ready for me, and I have to admit that I am looking forward to it. According to the firm administrator, there will be some items waiting for me upon my arrival. I just asked that she go easy on me for my first day. ;-) I am looking forward to starting the new gig on Monday. It is going to be a good time. 7:33:43 PM    comment []  trackback []
