Reuters: U.S. health regulators on Friday revealed reports of non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION) in men taking impotence drugs, but did not determine a cause and effect relationship.

Bloomberg: Pfizer Inc., the world's largest drugmaker, said U.S. regulators may require a label warning that the Viagra impotence drug has been linked to reports of blindness and vision loss in at least one in a million users.

Pfizer: A review of 103 Viagra clinical trials involving 13,000 patients found no reports of non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION). Outside of clinical trials, Viagra has been used by more than 23 million men worldwide over the past seven years and reports of visual field loss due to NAION are extremely rare.

Unrepentantindividual: The Food and Drug Administration still is investigating, but has no evidence yet that the drug is to blame, said spokeswoman Susan Cruzan. Something tells me, though, that most of the guys taking it are probably willing to take that risk.

Amigo's Place: Maybe giving it to sex crime convicts wasn't such a bad idea afterall.

The Hour: Josey Vogels - I'll never forget the headline: "34 years old! 40 lovers. You do the math!" At first I was horrified to have my sexual history broadcast from the pages of a major Canadian newspaper.

Who let the blogs out? I have a friend who wanted to make some extra money. So I told her (sorta joking) I'd heard of some women who'd made lots of money selling adult "toys" at home parties kinda like Mary Kay and Tupperware. On the news there was a very successful "vibrator purveyor" (wow, that has a nice ring to it) in a small Texas town who had to move because it was against the law to transport more than six "toys" at a time through that particular county.

Chicago Sun-Times: First published in June 1954 in Paris, Histoire d'O relates the title character O's initiation into sadomasochism. Losing one's identity -- whether from writing under a pseudonym, submitting to a lover's whip or embracing death -- is a form of philosophical pleasure, argue the book's fans.

Washington Post: Then Coburn got serious. He flipped to his next slide. It showed a part of the male anatomy but not as a science textbook drawing; this was the real thing, and a particularly sorry example; it looked like it had been left outside by mistake and then rusted in some unnatural way, with scaly dry spots, and warts on an angry red background.

Reason.com (Hit and run): Coburn would have gotten a better turn-out if he'd run a slideshow of the nymphomaniacal lesbian schoolgirls he claims are lurking in the bathrooms of Oklahoma high schools. No, really, he said that: http://www.dailykos.com/story/2004/10/11/14503/642

Village Voice: . . . go see Sharon Mitchell, executive director at Adult Industry Medical (aim-med.org) where you can get an STD and HIV test and the scoop on what it's really like. In fact, watching a video called Porn 101 is mandatory before you do your first shoot. No, there's no test afterward, but wouldn't it be cool to have one, like the written exam to get your driver's license? Contact Music: Socialite Paris Hilton was desperate for breast enhancement at the age of 16, but now she is relieved she kept her natural chest because a surgically-enhanced bust looks "deformed".

The blonde heiress is pleased with her decision as she prefers the freedom of going bra-less than having to support two surgically enlarged assets.

She recalls, "When I was younger, like 16, I wanted bigger breasts so bad. I was begging my dad, 'Can I have a boob job?'
